At the age of 8, he was captivated by the movie Shaolin Temple starring Jet Li, which motivated him to train in Shaolin martial arts despite his family's initial opposition. Before entering the film industry, Wang worked as an unskilled laborer and faced challenges due to his height when pursuing acting.
